Text Box: FABULOUS DINNER AUCTION NEWS!!

The 2009 Dinner Auction Committee invites you to reserve the evening of Saturday, February 7, 2009 for our 8th Annual Dinner Auction to be held at St. John Vianney.  Dinner will be catered by Luigi’s and Italia Gardens Restaurants; we’ll dance with THE BLUE HAWAIIANS; and auctioneer Tim Narhi will lead the Live Auction portion of the event!  All proceeds will benefit our children of St. John Vianney Catholic School!

Each class is gathering items that will be assembled into baskets and auctioned off during the Silent Auction.  On the back of this page is the list of themes for each homeroom.  We are asking that each child donate an item with a value of at least $20.00 for their theme basket. Take advantage of the after-Christmas sales for a good bargain!  Or, if you would rather make a monetary donation of $20.00 or more, the committee would be happy to do the shopping for you.

Please take your donation to your child’s homeroom teacher.  Attach the form on the back of this letter to your donation.  We are asking that all donations be turned in by January 16, 2009.

Please remember that these donations will help us continue our commitment to excellence. The proceeds from this year’s event will be used to further develop our foreign language, technology, and fine arts programs.  Thanks to the generosity of many people, the 2008 Dinner Auction purchased new text books and educational resources for all areas of the curriculum.

The Dinner Auction Committee has been working very hard to make the 2009 Vianney Nights a huge success! Thank you for supporting our students, and especially your child.  Every child is priceless!  Let’s give them the best at SJV!
